Police identify 5 people killed in Denver shootings this week

Five people that were killed in Denver in recent days were identified by Denver’s Medical Examiner’s Office on Friday:
- Lee Fowler, 35 was identified as the man shot and killed at Civic Center park near East Colfax Avenue and North Broadway Street Monday night. The cause of death was from multiple gunshot wounds and authorities have one person in custody.
Denver police: Victim in Civic Center Park shooting dead, suspect in custody
- Wayne Johnson, 53, was identified as the man shot and killed in the 300 block of West Yale Avenue Wednesday morning. An autopsy report stated Johnson died as a result of gunshot wounds. Police are investigating this case as a homicide.
Police: 2 wounded in separate early-morning shootings in Denver
- Marcus Hall, 51 was identified as the man fatally shot in the 8500 block of East Colfax Avenue near the Ahwahnee Motel on Thursday. An autopsy report stated Hall died as a result of sustained gunshot wounds. Authorities are investigating his death as a homicide.
- Jeremy Estes, 44 was identified as the man shot and killed in the 9300 block of E. 40th Avenue on Thursday. An autopsy report showed Estes died as a result of gunshot wounds. Police are investigating this case as a homicide.
3 men dead in Denver in separate early-morning shootings
- David Lovelace, 31 was identified as the man shot and killed in the early hours of Thursday near Interstate 70 and Peoria Street. An autopsy report showed his cause of death was from gunshot wounds. Police are investigating this case as a homicide.
