Three people were sent to a hospital Wednesday night after a report of an odor in Adams County.

The incident occurred near East 73rd Street and Birch Street and sent the South Adams County Fire Department and Xcel Energy crews at the scene. Officials announced the incident at 10:31 p.m. Wednesday

Three employees inside the building at the time of the incident were taken to a hospital for further evaluation, fire officials said.

Information regarding the status of the individuals and findings of the initial investigation is unknown.
