505 Southwestern chili and salsa fans can now get their fix at Coors Field as the company opened 505 Southwestern Grill on the concourse behind home plate.

Greenwood Village-based Flagship Food Group owns 505 Southwestern. Denver is 505’s number one selling market, according the company, and the partnership with Coors Field is one of the company’s most successful. It also partners with the Denver Broncos.

The Grill menu includes build-your-own burritos, bowls and nachos with “made to order” quesadillas.

The new stand has been popular with fans and recently added nachos. Speaking of nachos, 505 supplies the tortilla chips and salsa used for generic nachos at other Coors Field concession stands.

Fans can also get their favorite 505 products like the flame roasted green chili, salsa verde, restaurant-style salsa and green chili sauce.

Switching teams

CBRE scored a huge win last week when the commercial broker lured a 9-member multifamily investment sales team from competitor Newmark.

Brokers Terrance Hunt, Shane Ozment and Chris Cowan join CBRE Capital Markets as vice chairmen, along with Justin Hunt, Andy Hellman, Spencer Bradley, Kevin McKenna, Saul Levy and Jessica Graham. The team will occupy offices at both CBRE’s Denver and Colorado Springs markets.

The team is described as “market-leading” and has inked some of the biggest apartment building sales in recent years, including the $350 million deal for the Breakers Resort in Denver, dubbed as the most expensive in Colorado history.

“This team is the perennial leader of multifamily capital markets in Colorado with additional expertise in equity placement, portfolios, and land sales,” said Pete Schippits, president of CBRE’s Mountain-Northwest Division, in a statement. “They are prolific in volume and have been integrally involved in the vast majority of the region’s highest-profile multifamily transactions over the past decade. This team will bring a visionary and entrepreneurial spirit that is a dynamic fit with our organization.”
