Aurora fire crews extinguish blaze at new structure at Town Center
Aurora Fire Rescue crews extinguished a fire at a new single-story structure attached to the Aurora Town Center Wednesday morning.
Crews were dispatched to the 14000 block of East Alameda Parkway after reports of the smoke emitting from the new structure. Upon their arrival, the call was upgraded to a fire response, fire officials said on Twitter at 5:54 a.m.
Within 20 minutes, the fire had been contained, but there was still significant smoke inside the building, according to the department. As of 12:20 p.m., crews were still ventilating the building to get rid of the smoke.
No one was injured and no other businesses in ATC were impacted by smoke or fire, officials said.
