Police: Woman possibly abducted in Denver’s Villa Park neighborhood
Police believe a woman might have been abducted in Denver’s Villa Park neighborhood Sunday morning, the Denver Police Department announced.
Witnesses said they saw a woman getting into a white minivan while screaming for help, according to police. The incident happened at around 10 a.m. in the 5000 block of West 9th Avenue.
The minivan was last seen on traffic cameras driving down Sheridan Boulevard through the West 10th Avenue intersection.
Police are now trying to locate the minivan and the woman. Police do not have a specific description of the minivan but say it might have California license plates.
Anyone who sees the minivan, knows the woman or has any information regarding the incident is asked to call 911 or the Denver Police Department immediately at 720-913-2000.
To remain anonymous, tipsters can also call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867 and be eligible for a $2,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
