The Denver Police Department is investigating after a man was stabbed overnight on Memorial Day in the Congress Park neighborhood.

Police said the stabbing happened before 2 a.m. Monday outside of an apartment building in the 1400 block of North Josephine Street, near East Colfax Avenue.

The victim, identified only as a man, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. His condition is unknown, police said.

Police have not released any information about what led to the stabbing.

No arrests have been made in connection to the stabbing. No suspect information is available.
