One man was killed and another was wounded in a shooting in the South Park Hill neighborhood Tuesday night, the Denver Police Department said.

Police said the shooting happened just before 11 p.m. at East Colfax Avenue and Quebec Street, which is the border between the South Park Hill and the East Colfax neighborhoods.

Officers arrived and found both men, who were taken to a hospital. One of the victims later died as a result of their injuries.

Denver Office of the Medical Examiner identified the victim as 26-year-old Antonio H. Pozos and stated his cause of death was from gunshot wounds, according to a release.

Police have not released information regarding a possible suspects or possible motive.
