The Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Broomfield Police Department are seeking any information about a Tuesday bank robbery.
Officials said a man entered a Wells Fargo branch at 2 Garden Center in Broomfield just before 1:30 p.m. He demanded cash from the teller before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to a news release from the FBI. The man did not display a weapon during the incident, authorities said.
The robber has been described as a man more than 6 feet tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a plaid, long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, a dark face mask, beanie hat and sunglasses, according to the release.
Anyone with information regarding the bank robbery is urged to contact either the FBI’s Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force at 303-629-7171; or Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Tipsters with information that lead to an arrest and conviction could earn up to $2,000 as a reward.
