The Adams County Sheriff’s Office asked for help to track down the driver of a truck that could be connected to a Tuesday drive-by shooting that left one man dead.
Officials say the shooters rode in a 2003 to 2004 silver Dodge Ram pickup that is equipped with a hood scoop and has a decal on the tailgate. It was driven by a man with as many as two passengers inside.
Deputies said the truck is tied to a shooting at the 7700 block of Pecos Street on Monday around 8:30 p.m.
Investigators have since learned the pickup pulled up alongside another vehicle when one of its occupants opened fire.
The victim, a man, was shot in the chest and transported to a local hospital where he later died Tuesday morning, The Denver Gazette previously reported.
Officials haven’t released more details including the victim’s name.
