Aurora’s Office of Emergency Management will test the city’s emergency outdoor warning sirens at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.

About 50 sirens will be tested, and anyone outdoors in the city should expect to hear three minutes of a loud wailing sound.

Sirens may not be audible indoors.

These sirens notify residents of emergency situations like a tornado or a hazardous material spill.
