Man shot in Aurora while interrupting teens stealing his car, police say
A man was shot in the leg on Tuesday night when he interrupted what appeared to be a group of teenagers trying to steal his car, the Aurora Police Department said.
The shooting occurred just after 10 p.m. in the 18000 block of East Kentucky Avenue, the police said.
The police said the man, who was rushed to the hospital, is in stable condition.
Police said the suspects ran away on foot.
