The Federal Aviation Administration placed flights on a ground stop at Denver International Airport following Tuesday morning’s snowfall in the Mile High City.
As of 12:30 p.m., 370 flights coming out of DIA were delayed and 20 were canceled, according to Flight Aware.
Out of the delays, 125 of them affected Southwest Airlines passengers and 124 affected United Airlines passengers, the flight information site said.
The Federal Aviation Administration ordered for the ground stop Tuesday morning, a DIA spokesperson confirmed with The Denver Gazette. DIA resumed ground operations around 11:30 a.m., the airport spokesperson said.
Christmas-time travelers coming in or out of Denver witnessed hundreds of more delays on Sunday. Weather is expected to clear up into the afternoon on Tuesday and into the rest of the week, according to the National Weather service.
Check your flight status, or those of incoming passengers, before heading out to DIA.
