VIDEO: ‘Killdozer’ bulldozer towed through mountain town where rampage took place

Earlier this week, our team received a tip about an odd video that’s been uploaded to YouTube, capturing what appears to be the same model of bulldozer that was used in the infamous ‘Killdozer’ rampage being towed down a snowy road in Granby. That model is the Komastu D335A bulldozer, which is valued at about $85,000 based on online sales.

For those unfamiliar with the ‘Killdozer’ story, it involves a man putting armor on a bulldozer before using it to terrorize the Colorado mountain town of Granby in 2004. While the man behind the machine would be the only death of the day, via suicide, multiple buildings would be damaged or destroyed, with the man also firing large-caliber rounds through a gun port on the vehicle at one point during the chaotic rampage (read more about that day here). Many of those shots were directed at large propane tanks that were close to a senior housing complex, resulting in the evacuation of that facility.

The video of the Komastu being towed through Granby was uploaded on January 11. At least one person can be heard laughing in the background as the bulldozer is towed through the town 20 years after the rampage made national news.

Watch the clip here:

Additional details regarding why the bulldozer is present in Granby are unknown. We’ll be following this story and looking out for additional details in upcoming days.
