The Federal Bureau of Investigation on Tuesday released two surveillance photos of a man they’ve nicknamed the “Afternoon Delight Bandit.”
The FBI said they gave him the moniker because he’s robbed two banks in the middle of the afternoon.
Both broad-daylight bank robberies happened in Brighton. The first was on Feb. 6 at 3 p.m. at the TBK Bank at 30 N. 4th Ave. The second happened on Feb. 19 at 2:40 p.m. at the Bank of Colorado at 13 N. 50th Ave.
In both robberies, authorities said the suspect “verbally demanded money and then fled the bank.”
In both surveillance photos released by police, the “Afternoon Delight Bandit” is seen wearing a face covering, glasses and a matching zip-up hoodie and beanie.
Authorities did not provide any suspect description.
