The Denver Police Department is investigating a south Denver shooting which left a woman dead on Saturday night.

Shots were fired in the 2700 block of west Iliff Avenue at 7:32 p.m., according to a Denver police spokesperson.

A woman was pronounced dead on the scene, police said.

Police have yet to arrest a suspect.
