1 dead, 1 seriously injured in Larimer County rollover crash

One man has died and another man is in the hospital after a car filled with six passengers rolled over off a highway in southern Larimer County Saturday night.
The single-vehicle accident was reported at 7:30 p.m. near mile post 323 on U.S. Highway 287 at County Road 4, according to a Colorado State Patrol spokesperson.
The location is south of Berthoud and just north of the border between Larimer and Boulder counties.
The CSP spokesperson said the car was traveling northbound on route 287, lost control, and rolled over on the west shoulder of the road.
Six men occupied the vehicle. Two were transported to the hospital, according to CSP.
The driver, who remains unidentified, died in the hospital, the CSP official said, adding that the other passenger sustained serious injuries.
“Alcohol is being investigated as a possible factor in this crash,” the spokesperson said.
The crash remains under investigation.
