ID of man released who died after tree fell on him at Eldora Mountain Resort
The 52-year-old man who died Thursday after a tree fell on top of him at the Eldora Mountain Resort has been identified as Louis Miller.
The incident happened shortly after 10 a.m. when the man, who was a staff member at the ski resort, was seriously injured while assisting with trail maintenance at the resort, the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
Ski patrol responded responded and immediately performed CPR. A Flight for Life helicopter was en route to the scene when the man died from his injuries, deputies said.
The identity of the man who died will be released by the Boulder County Coroner’s Office. Deputies said the death does not appear to be suspicious.
