Denver weather: Will the high reach 80 degrees Thursday?
Denver residents can expect a warm and breezy Thursday as temperatures continue to rise after a stormy start to the week, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.
The day is expected to start off with a few clouds, but those should clear by midafternoon, the weather agency said. And temperatures could reach 80 degrees.
“Warmer, drier, and breezy weather is expected (in the) forecast today, leading to areas of elevated fire weather conditions, mainly across the lower elevations,” NWS said. “A cold front is expected to arrive overnight tonight, bringing cooler temperatures to the region along with a few rain and snow showers for the high county.”
Tonight, expect partly cloudy skies, with a low around 42. Breezy, with a northwest wind 12 to 17 mph decreasing to 5 to 10 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 26 mph.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 68. Light and variable wind becoming east 5 to 7 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.
Saturday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Mostly sunny, with a high near 76. Light and variable wind becoming north 5 to 7 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.
Sunday: A slight chance of showers, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 71. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Memorial Day: Sunny, with a high near 77.
