16th and California light rail station

Those planning on using the Regional Transportation District’s (RTD) E and R light rail lines throughout the holiday week should be prepared for late-night maintenance disturbances.

The scheduled track repairs to sections of Denver’s Southeast Corridor light rail system began on June 23 and will continue during the holiday week between Sunday evening and Friday morning, according to a press release.

These two lines will be interrupted between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. from Sunday evening until Friday morning, with maintenance skipping Thursday morning for the Independence Day holiday.

Bus shuttles will accommodate commuters during the maintenance periods.
