PHOTOS: ‘Tube to Work Day’ draws 400 to Boulder Creek for annual tradition

Organizers say 400 people took to Boulder Creek for the annual “Tube to Work Day” tradition which dates back nearly 20 years. “This is what Boulder was known for for decades—being a wild, wacky hippie town. It’s kind of evolved into a tech town recently, but this is kind of keeping the Boulder spirit alive,” Lance Panigutti, whose company Without Limits Productions organizes the event. Without Limits typically does event production for triathlons, cycling and other races, however, “this is probably our most fun event of the year, it’s not competitive, it’s just about having a good time,” Panigutti said.
