Denver weather: Widespread smoke and haze Wednesday
Widespread smoke and haze will linger in Denver on Wednesday as wildfires continue north of the city.
According to the National Weather Service in Boulder, the presence of smoke and haze due to the wildfire burning in Lyons County is lingering throughout the city.
Expect sunny skies and a high of 95 degrees. Winds from the northwest will roll through the area between 6-9 mph.
Looking ahead to Wednesday night, the wide-spread haze will continue through 10 p.m. Expect mostly clear skies and a low of 61 degrees.
Temps will rise into the high 90s again on Thursday and Friday bringing the hot and dry. Moisture is anticipated to return this weekend with potential for storms littered through the forecast.
