Movie rundown for the weekend through Aug. 4
OPENING
“Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha” — (Action, not rated, 150 minutes). A love story between Krishna and Vasudha and the struggles they face during their relationship.
“Blackpink World Tour (Born Pink)” in Cinemas — (Concert, not rated, 93 minutes). Some of Blackpink live performances and footage from their global tour.
“Coup!” — (Comedy, not rated, 98 minutes). A mischievous chef starts an uprising with his staff against a wealthy family.
“Harold and the Purple Crayon” — (Animation, PG, 92 minutes). Harold can make anything come to life by drawing it inside his book. When he grows up, he draws himself off the pages and realizes he has a lot to learn in the physical world.
“Kneecap” — (Comedy, R, 105 minutes). The group Kneecap, who rap in the native Irish, become figureheads of a civil rights movement while trying to save their mother tongue.
“Trap” — (Crime, PG-13, 105 minutes). While at a pop concert, a father and his teen daughter find themselves in the center of a sinister and dark event.

“A Quiet Place: Day One” — (Drama, PG-13, 100 minutes). Learn what happened the day the world went quiet.
“Bad Boys: Ride or Die” — (Action, R, 115 minutes). Grade: C, Katie Walsh. Two Miami police officers try to clear the name of their former captain after he is accused of corruption.
“Deadpool & Wolverine” — (Action, R, 127 minutes). Grade: C, Katie Walsh. Deadpool and Wolverine team up to defeat a common enemy.
“Despicable Me 4” — (Animation, PG, 95 minutes). Grade: D, Katie Walsh. The family, including the newest member Gru Jr., are forced to go on the run when Gru faces new nemeses, Maxime Le Mal and his girlfriend Valentina.
“The Fabulous Four” — (Comedy, R, 99 minutes). Two friends travel to Key West, Fla., to be bridesmaids in their college friend’s surprise wedding.
“Fly Me to the Moon” — (Comedy, PG-13, 132 minutes). Grade: C, Michael Phillips. Kelly Jones is instructed to stage a fake moon landing as a backup in case an important mission that the White House is coordinating fails.
“Inside Out 2” — (Animation, PG, 100 minutes). Grade: B-, Katie Walsh. Riley, now in her teenage years, is experiencing new emotions.
“Longlegs” — (Crime, R, 101 minutes). Grade: A, Katie Walsh. While searching for a serial killer, an FBI agent uncovers occult clues that she must solve to end the killing spree.
“Ponyo” Studio Ghibli Fest 2024 — (Animation, G, 115 minutes). A goldfish princess named Ponyo meets a human boy, Sosuke, during a forbidden trip to see the surface world.
“Raayan” — (Action, not rated, 145 minutes). After his family is killed, a young man is led through the criminal underworld while seeking those responsible for the murders.
“Thelma” — (Action, PG-13, 97 minutes). Grade: B+, Katie Walsh. After a phone scammer deceives 93-year-old Thelma Post, she embarks on a quest to recover what was taken from her.
“Touch” — (Drama, R, 121 minutes). Before his time runs out, a man searches for his first love who disappeared 50 years ago.
“Twisters” — (Action, PG-13, 117 minutes). Grade: A-, Katie Walsh. A meteorologist and retired tornado-chaser find themselves fighting for their lives when they go to Oklahoma to test new technologies and end up in the path of multiple storms.
“Widow Clicquot” — (Drama, R, 89 minutes). After her husband’s death, Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin Clicquot takes over the wine business and defies the critics to become one of the first great businesswomen.
