Homicide investigation underway after woman’s body found at Denver park
A homicide investigation is underway at a park in Denver after the body of Lori Lupercio was found on August 1 around 12:11 a.m.
Initially, officers responded on the report of an ‘outdoor death’ at the City of Cuernavaca Park, though circumstances of the scene meant later shifting the case to a homicide investigation. City of Cuernavaca Park is located on the northwest side of Denver’s Ballpark District.
Authorities are now seeking any information from the public that may assist them in tracking down a suspect. Anyone with information should contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Tipsters may be eligible to receive $2,000 and can remain anonymous.
Condolences go out to those impacted by Lupercio’s death.
