Shooting in Fort Collins leaves one dead, another injured

A person was killed and another injured in a shooting in a Fort Collins parking lot early Sunday morning.

Fort Collins police officers responded around 1 a.m. to reports of a shooting. When they arrived at the scene they found two victims had been shot after a dispute between two groups in a parking lot at 215 Remington Street.

A male victim was pronounced deceased after being taken to the hospital for serious injuries. A woman was also taken to the hospital and is expected to recover from her injuries.

Police say that the suspect is outstanding and considered armed and dangerous. They ask anyone who witnessed the incident or who has information to contact investigators at 970-416-2825 or tipsline@fcgov.com.
