Denver weather: Monsoonal rains continue Monday

Monsoonal flow continues Monday as rain and thunderstorms will pop up in the afternoon and evening around metro Denver and in the Front Range foothills.
Some storms will bring rain and wind to the northeastern Plains as well.
Denver residents can expect a 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1 p.m., according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.
It’ll be mostly cloudy with a high near 84 and light and variable winds will blow, becoming south 6 to 11 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 15 mph.
Tonight, the city will see showers and thunderstorms likely before midnight, then a slight chance of showers between midnight and 1 a.m.
It’ll be mostly cloudy with a low around 61 and south winds blowing between 5 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Tuesday: A 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Mostly sunny, with a high near 88. Calm wind becoming north northwest 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 17 mph.
Wednesday: A 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 85. Light and variable wind becoming west northwest 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 16 mph.
Thursday: A 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Sunny, with a high near 85.
Friday: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Sunny, with a high near 90.
