Victim in Denver Wendy’s hit-and-run dies; police searching for suspect

The man was found with severe injuries in the early morning hours of Aug. 14 and later died, according to Denver Police

A man has died after he was found with severe injuries as a result of being run over in a Denver Wendy’s drive-thru earlier this month.

His death is being investigated as a fatal hit-and-run crash, Denver Police said on Thursday.

Denver Police said the victim was found with severe injuries in the early morning hours of Aug. 14 at the Wendy’s located at 857 E. Colfax Ave. in Denver, between Clarkson and Emerson streets. The man later died because of his injuries.

The driver who hit the man did not remain at the scene, and the man’s death is being investigated as a deadly hit-and-run crash, according to Denver Police. No description of the driver or vehicle was provided.
