Denver weather: Mostly clear skies and hot Tuesday
The Denver area is forecast for beautiful skies and highs in the upper 80s Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.
Expect mostly sunny skies and a high of 89 degrees.
“Scattered higher based showers along with isolated thunderstorms will occur this afternoon into the early evening hours, especially over the higher terrain,” the NWS said. “Gusty winds will be common with a few winds gusts up to 50 mph possible. Rainfall is expected to be light.”
Looking ahead to Tuesday night, a 10% chance of showers and thunderstorms is forecast through the area until 9 p.m. Expect mostly cloudy skies and a low of 59 degrees.
Highs will remain in the upper 80s and low 90s through the end of the week, with a chance for showers and thunderstorms returning Wednesday afternoon.

Saturday: Expect sunny skies and a high of 86 degrees.
