Arapahoe sheriff’s search for armed jewelry store robber
Sheriff's say a man walked into a Centennial jewelry store around 4 p.m., threatened an employee, stole jewelry and walked out.
The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man who robbed a jewelry store in Centennial on Monday.
In a social media post, sheriff’s officials said the man walked into Rocky Mountain Jewelry around 4 p.m., threatened an employee, stole jewelry and walked out.
Authorities said the man is armed and dangerous.
He was last seen running westbound at east Arapahoe Road and south Quebec Street, according to sheriff’s.
Sheriff’s officials described the robber as a Hispanic man in his early 20’s, thin build with dark brown or black hair, wearing a black baseball cap, a blue jacket, red pants with a white stripe down the sides and a white printed mask.
Another detail authorities provided is the man has a tattoo under his right ear.
Sheriff’s ask if anyone sees the suspect to call 911 immediately.
A sheriff’s office spokesperson told The Denver Gazette early Tuesday the office plans to release more information later in the day.
