Colorado city dubbed 10th hottest ‘rental market’ of American West for 2025
For many cities, 2024 included shifting job markets, lifestyle changes, and emerging trends in urban development.
RentCafé recently created a report related to the “most dynamic cities” of 2024, analyzing the most popular rental markets each month during the past year to find rental hotspots to look for in 2025.
To compile the report, the research team analyzed RentCafé’s rental listing data across the 150 largest cities by population. To calculate each city’s score, researchers ranked them according to four metrics: availability rate, page views, favorites, and saved searches.
Colorado Springs ended up rank 10th among the top cities for rental activity in the American West. According to the data, Colorado Springs jumped 48 spots in the rankings since last year.
Denver and Aurora were also included in the rankings, coming in at 32nd and 73rd, respectively.
Minneapolis took first place as the top rental hotspot to watch in 2025 nationwide. Santa Rosa, California was the top spot in the American West.
