Where good news shines

Colorado Christian’s Sungyeop Cho was named to the 2025 Ben Hogan Award watch list Wednesday.

Cho, a South Korea native, is the only Division II honoree on the Ben Hogan watch list, placing him among the nation’s best golfers.

The sophomore, who is the No. 1-ranked NCAA Division II golfer, has competed in four tournaments during the 2024-25 season, winning one and finishing in the top three three times. With the help of Cho, Colorado Christian went undefeated during fall play and is the No. 1 team in Division II.

The Ben Hogan Award awards the top men’s NCAA Division I, II or III, NAIA, or NJCAA college golfer based on all collegiate, amateur, and professional events over the previous 12 months.
