10 ‘must-try’ dining spots found around Colorado for 2025
There’s no shortage of great food to find in Colorado, as the list of highly-rated restaurants keeps on growing.
Here are ten dining establishments worth checking out in 2025:
1. Outer Range Brewing Co.
This craft brewery and taproom is in Frisco, making it a great stop after a long ski day. Customers can enjoy a beer that “transports you to the rugged beauty of the Colorado Rockies and French Alps.” Outer Range is also known for its famous Thai-ish fried chicken and was recently voted as USA Today’s top apres-ski bar.
2. Sap Sua
Located in East Colfax Denver, this restaurant serves non-traditional Vietnamese food. Sap Sua’s Trúng Và Trúng was recently listed on The New York Times’ list of the 26 best dishes across the U.S. in 2024. Trúng Và Trúng is described as “soft scrambled egg, brown butter, fish sauce, trout roe, and rice” on the Sap Sua menu.
3. Alma Fonda Fina
Serving contemporary Mexican food, Alma Fonda Fina pays homage to Chef Johnny Curiel’s culturally rich heritage and “decades of stories experiences in his home country.” The restaurant serves dishes such as Birria de Borrego (lamb shank), the Camote Asado (a sweet potato dish), and the Aguachile de Chile Fresno (seared hamachi). Alma Fonda Fina also has a Michelin Star, and was listed on Esquire’s 35 ‘best new restaurants of 2024.’
4. Venalonzo’s Tacos
This family-owned restaurant recently won the Denver Gazette’s 2024 Denver Taco Tournament – making it a ‘must-visit’ for taco lovers in 2025. Venalonzo’s serves authentic, handmade Mexican food, including birria tacos, el pastor tacos, breakfast burritos, and much more.
5. Leven Deli Co.
Leven Deli Co. is not only a deli but also a wine bar, bakery, and coffee shop, and it’s located right next to the Denver Art Museum. The restaurant serves a variety of signature sandwiches, including ‘The Rachel,’ (Jarlsberg cheese, house slaw, and Leven sauce on toasted rye bread) which was recently included on LoveFood’s list of the best sandwiches in each U.S. state.
6. Church and Union
Featuring a “playful approach on Modern-American cuisine,” Church and Union serves everything from Moroccan meatballs with whipped feta and a spiced BBQ glaze to fried chicken with Alabama white sauce and jalapeno cornbread, and many more delectable dishes.
7. Roberta’s Pizzeria at Urban Cowboy Public House
The 1880s George Schleier Mansion in Capitol Hill is now home to the Urban Cowboy hotel, which includes Roberta’s Pizza, an NYC-based restaurant group focusing on seasonal Italian cooking and Neapolitan pizza.
8. Odell’s Bagel
Set in Denver’s Highlands neighborhood, Odell’s Bagel offers a variety of bagels and sandwiches, plus house-whipped cream cheeses, house-made pickles, house-made jams and mustards, and more.
9. Dan Da
Customers will find a mix of traditional and rustic Vietnamese dishes with a modern twist at Dan Da, which opened after Savory Vietnam closed at the same location. Dishes include the spicy lemongrass pork clay pot, whole deep-fried fish, and “do it yourself rolls,” where each person can create their perfect bite.
