5 injured in crash at Colfax and Speer Saturday morning

Denver Police say five people were taken to the hospital after a crash Saturday morning.

Police posted at 6 a.m. on social media that officers were investigating the two-vehicle crash at the intersection of West Colfax Avenue and North Speer Boulevard.

Police were not able to share the extent of the victims’ injuries.

Northbound lanes on Speer and eastbound lanes on Colfax were closed while officers investigate.

The road reopened around 9 a.m.
