Denver Pioneers hockey enters postseason at No. 6 in both polls | Colorado Sunshine

Where good news shines

The Denver Pioneers hockey team will begin its postseason push ranked No. 6.

The Pios were No. 6 in both the USCHO.com and USA Hockey/The Rink Live polls Monday. That came after then-No. 7 Denver swept No. 20 Colorado College last weekend.

DU and CC are paired up in a best-of-three NCHC quarterfinal at Magness Arena from Friday-Sunday. The NCHC has the second-most teams in the USCHO.com poll with five.

Game 1 of the DU-CC series is 7 p.m. Friday with Game 2 at 6 p.m. Saturday.
