Repairs to deteriorating concrete at the Civic Center Station in the shuttle turnaround will displace RTD’s Free MallRide stop to the west side of Broadway at Cheyenne Place for about a week beginning Monday, March 24.
The MallRide service will continue to provide service on 15th and 17th streets between Civic Center Station and Curtis Street through the completion of the 16th Street Mall project in 2025. Customers can board the Free MallRide on each of the Mall’s newly opened blocks.
With the return of the Free MallRide shuttles to the 16th Street Mall, RTD encourages pedestrians to be cautious and look both ways when crossing the transitway.
“The 16th Street Free MallRide can take you to everything to see and do from Union Station to Civic Center Station. Just hop on board. You don’t need a ticket and there’s no fare. Whether you’re shopping, dining, or out for a night with friends, the Free MallRide’s fully electric, battery-powered vehicles can get you there,” says RTD.
The MallRide runs seven days a week between Civic Center Station and Union Station, beginning as early as 5 a.m. to 12:15 a.m. on weekdays and weekends.
