Colorado Springs’ Flying Horse Resort & Club is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2025. A lot has happened over the past two decades, as Flying Horse transformed land that was previously a ranch into a place to stay and play, escaping the ordinary while enjoying nature’s beauty, exceptional recreational amenities, dining, spa and lodging experiences, as well as an incredible setting for meetings and events.

This year, the Club’s staff will pay homage to the past, honor the present and look forward to the future with the same dedication and commitment to members and resort guests displayed every year. Many members of the Flying Horse Resort & Club team have been part of its growth from the beginning, and have played a big role in making The Club a mainstay of the community, complete with long-standing relationships amidst an inclusive, warm and welcoming environment that offers an elevated lifestyle and social atmosphere.

A significant and alluring number

It should be noted that in numerology, the number 20 resonates with teamwork and service, with a focus on relationships. According to Facts.net, the number “possesses a harmonious energy, symbolizing balance, cooperation and diplomacy. It reflects the need for unity and collaboration to achieve success and fulfillment.”

Flying Horse essentially put northern Colorado Springs on the map. As the master-planned community grew, so did the commitment and loyalty of members and owners. Today, Flying Horse is the epitome of the Colorado lifestyle, seamlessly blending a resort-style athletic club and spa, two 18-hole championship golf courses, a European-styled clubhouse, world-class cuisine and luxurious guest accommodations that boast a AAA Four Diamond rating.

The success and fulfillment that has been achieved at Flying Horse will continue as new chapters are written, including 2.5-acre custom lots being offered at Flying Horse North and plans for a future clubhouse.

Get away from it all without going far away!

Members of The Club and guests of The Resort have access to two world-class golf courses, luxurious athletic amenities, and gourmet dining options right in their own backyard — even if they do not live in the Flying Horse community.

The designers of Flying Horse’s two private 18-hole golf courses include the legendary professional golfer Tom Weiskopf, who won 16 PGA Tour titles and the 1973 Open Championship, and renowned golf course architect Phil Smith.
