Several hospitalized after four-vehicle crash involving semi-truck on I-25 near Larkspur

A four-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck closed down a portion of northbound Interstate 25 in Larkspur on Sunday.

A Colorado State Patrol spokesperson said several people were transported to the hospital, but the exact number is currently unknown.

The crash happened near mile marker 169 on northbound I-25, according to a Colorado State Patrol spokesperson.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office first reported the closure at 12:36 p.m. The highway has since reopened at the Greenland exit.

CSP officials said the semi-truck caused the crash and the driver was cited with unknown charges.
