The Denver Police Department is conducting an outdoor death investigation for a body found Wednesday night.

At 7:42 p.m., Denver Police officers responded to a call for an unresponsive person in the 1500 block of 8th Ave, near Cheesman Park.

Police do not currently believe that the death was a homicide, according to a DPD spokesperson.

The Denver Office of the Medical Examiner will determine the final cause of death for the individual.
