A motorcyclist was killed in a crash involving a bus and possibly another vehicle on westbound Interstate 70 in the Wheat Ridge area Tuesday evening, the Colorado State Patrol said.

Troopers said the crash happened around 6:45 p.m. west of the Youngfield Street exit in Jefferson County. It involved a motorcycle, a bus, and possibly a third vehicle, CSP said. The driver of the possible third vehicle did not stay on the scene.

Troopers said the motorcyclist, a 19-year-old man, died of his injuries.

The people on the bus were not injured, troopers said.
