Colorado state trooper arrested in Alamosa County

A state trooper was arrested at his home in Alamosa on Saturday, according to a news release from the Colorado State Patrol.

Brandon Stevens, a member of the State Patrol since April 2023, faces charges of domestic violence and second-degree assault, officials said. He has been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation.

“We respect and defer to the 12th Judicial District Attorney’s Office and our judicial system regarding this charge,” the news release stated.
