Final: Broncos 21, Eagles 17

The Broncos (2-2) travel to Philadelphia to face off with the defending Super Bowl champion Eagles (4-0) on Sunday. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. on CBS.

Fourth quarter

Lutz hits from 36 yards to extend the lead to 21-17.

2-minute warning: Broncos have the ball facing a third down. Eagles out of timeouts. Broncos in field goal range to extend lead.

Denver catches a break as the Eagles get flagged for an illegal shift, and Philly is forced to punt.

The Broncos respond again with a 11-yard TD catch by Evan Engram. The Broncos go for 2 and take the lead 18-17.

A blitz by Ja’Quan McMillian results in another sack, and the Denver defense forces another punt.

J.K. Dobbins scores a 2-yard touchdown, and the Broncos are within one score with 13 minutes left in the game.

Broncos have the ball and are driving down 14 to start the fourth quarter

Third quarter

End of third quarter: Eagle 17, Broncos 3

The Denver defense continues to do its part and forces a punt. Bonitto with another sack.

Surtain comes up with a big play against A.J. Brown and Eagles punt the ball back to Denver.

Denver had something going, but a grounding penalty on Nix derails the drive. Another punt for the Broncos.

Philly catches the Broncos in a blitz, and Saquon Barkley beats Alex Singleton for a 47-yard touchdown. Eagles up 17-3.

Eagles will begin the second half with the ball

Halftime: Eagles 10, Broncos 3

Second quarter

Broncos stop the Eagles again, and Denver gets one more chance for points with about a one minute to go.

Nik Bonitto and Zach Allen get to Hurts for a sack and Denver forces a punt.

Broncos can’t respond as Denver is 1-for-6 on third down. Broncos punt the ball back to Phily.

A big pass to Devonta Smith and a pass interference call on Patrick Surtain sets a 2-yard TD pass to give the Eagles a 10-3 lead.

Eagles blitz on third down and sack Nix to knock Denver out of field goal range.

First quarter

End of the first quarter: Broncos 3, Eagles 3.

Broncos defense keeps the Eagles out of the end zone and Jake Elliott hits a -yard field goal to tie the game 3-3.

Wil Lutz hits a 55-yard field goal to give the Broncos a 3-0 lead.

Broncos retain the ball as the play is ruled an incomplete pass.

Nix fumbles, and the Eagles recover, but the play is under review. Quarterback feels he was in his throwing motion.

Denver defense forces its own three-and-out from the Eagles. Great coverage from the Broncos on the drive. A 21-yard punt return from Marvin Mims.

The Broncos go three and out. Courtland Sutton has a deep ball go right through his hand.

Eagles win the toss and defer. Bo Nix and the Broncos offense will be on the field first.
