LB Dre Greenlaw makes Broncos debut after missing 6 games with quad injury
As expected, Broncos linebacker Dre Greenlaw was active for the first time this season for Sunday’s game against the New York Giants.
Greenlaw was activated Saturday off injured reserve with the expectation he would play in the game at Empower Field at Mile High. Greenlaw, signed in March as a free agent after six years with San Francisco, missed the first six games of the season due to a quad injury.
Also active for the first time this season was tackle Frank Crum. He will provide depth after guard-tackle Matt Peart suffered a knee injury last Sunday in the 13-11 win over the New York Jets in London and was put on injured reserve.
Inactive were outside linebacker Jonah Elliss, out for his second straight game with a shoulder injury, running back Jaleel McLaughlin, defensive linemen Jordan Jackson and Sai’vion Jones and defensive back J.T. Gray.
Inactive for the Giants were wide receiver Darius Slayton, linebackers Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles, defensive lineman Chauncey Golston, offensive linemen John Michael Schmitz and Evan Neal and emergency quarterback Jameis Winston.
