Multiple hospitalized after nine-vehicle crash on Interstate 225 in Aurora Friday night
Multiple people were hospitalized after a nine-vehicle crash in Aurora Friday night.
The crash, which took place on southbound Interstate 225 near Parker Road, took place around 10:24 p.m. and sent at least one person to the hospital with serious injuries, according to a social media post from the Aurora Police Department.
Officials did not publicly shared the ages of those involved in the crash in the post.
The crash closed all southbound lanes of the interstate at East Iliff Avenue for about four hours as emergency crews responded to the scene, according to the post.
The roadway was fully reopened to traffic just after 2:11 a.m., the department said.
