Lots of hot pink when the Hello Kitty Café Truck arrives downtown at Denver Pavilions from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday with shopping for 10th anniversary merch from sweatshirts and blankets to plush toys and water bottles. Opening day Saturday for the Fort Collins Winter Farmers Market on Foothills Parkway in its 19th season, 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. The first day celebrates Dia de Muertos with music,  family activities and traditional community altars honoring those special ones who have died. More than 100 local vendors offer Colorado-grown produce and meats, artisan crafts and more. Fright Fest at Elitch Gardens continues its scary ways all weekend. All the theme park rides and the addition of three new TERRORtories, two new Haunted Houses and a live show “Haunted Hits.” Daytime is the kids’ area Booville with a Trick-or-Treat Trail and three “spooktacular” activities. One of the most delightful times as little ones ages 7 and under learn all about music in the interactive Tiny Tots: Inside the Orchestra. One of the plethora of fun Halloween events all around Colorado, Frisco offers Trick-or-Treat-on-Main-Street from 5-7 p.m. Friday. The town will be dressed up with scary ghouls as kids in costumes visit storefronts and Frisco Historic Park for goodies.
