2 people, dog killed in north metro Denver house fire, authorities say

Two people and a dog died in a house fire early Sunday morning in Adams County near Denver, according to the fire agency and sheriff’s office.

At 1:49 a.m., Adams County Fire Rescue crews responded to a blaze at a home in the 800 block of Bronco Road, according to fire officials and the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.

Adams County fire officials said the back of the home was fully engulfed in flames upon first responder arrival.

The north metro Denver fire agency and sheriff’s office are working together to determine what caused the fire.

Officials said authorities plan to release more information when it becomes available.
