No. 21 Colorado volleyball sweeps West Virginia in Big 12 road match | Colorado Sunshine

Where good news shines

The No. 21-ranked Colorado Buffaloes volleyball team swept West Virginia at Hope Coliseum in Morgantown, W. Va., Wednesday.

As usual, Ana Burilovic was at the center of the victory.

Burilovic had 15 kills, five digs, two blocks and an ace as the Buffs (22-6, 12-4 Big 12) needed only 1 hour, 16 minutes, to complete the 25-18, 25-21, 25-19 win. It was CU’s 10th sweep this season.

“Happy to get a win on the road and sweeps are hard to come by, so (we’re) happy for that,” CU coach Jesse Mahoney said.

Cayla Payne had nine kills, Maria Splawska had five blocks and Rian Finley had 22 assists for the Buffs.

Colorado plays at Cincinnati at 4:30 p.m. Friday (ESPN+).
