Loveland police search for more victims in child care abuse investigation
Loveland police are searching for other possible victims after an investigation uncovered alleged child abuse at a local in-home child care center.
Local authorities began its investigation when a child was found with physical injuries at Loveland Home Childcare Facility, according to a Loveland Police Department social media posting Saturday night.
Police said the investigation revealed more victims of child abuse, leading to the arrest of Michelle Sanders, the child care’s business owner.
Sanders faces several charges of child abuse, according to the police.
Authorities didn’t share the extent of injuries, number of victims or when the alleged child abuse took place.
“While only limited information can be shared during our active investigation, any parent or guardian who previously enrolled children with Michelle’s in-home child care, and noticed signs of harm or troubling conduct, should contact our investigative tipline,” Loveland police said on social media.
