MSU Denver volleyball secures No. 1 seed in NCAA Division II tournament | Colorado Sunshine
Where good news shines
Beware the Roadrunners.
MSU Denver’s volleyball team earned a No. 1 seed in the South Central Region when the NCAA Division II women’s bracket was released Monday. That means the Roadrunners will host the regional at Auraria Event Center on Dec. 4-6.
MSU Denver (26-3) drew Colorado Mesa (17-10) in the first round. It’s the 25th straight NCAA Tournament berth for the Roadrunners, who enter the bracket with a 17-match win streak and coming off an RMAC tournament title.
MSU Denver shared the RMAC regular-season title with UCCS.
It’s the third time MSU Denver will host the South Central Regional after doing so in 2021 and 2022.
