New archery range opening at popular Arvada center on Dec. 12

The Apex Park and Recreation District in Arvada announced the grand opening of the Apex Archery Range at the Apex Center, which will be a premier new amenity designed to serve archers of all ages and skill levels.

The outdoor range will officially open to the public Dec. 12 marking an exciting milestone in Apex’s ongoing commitment to providing recreational opportunities that promote social, physical and emotional well-being for the community, according to a news release from Apex Park and Recreation.

The archery range will be located outside and behind the Apex Center, and will feature modern equipment, a safe and welcoming environment, and programming tailored to beginners, seasoned archers and everyone in between.

“Whether you’re picking up a bow for the first time or refining your technique, the Apex Archery Range offers something for everyone,” Apex Park and Recreation said.

“This new amenity is a fantastic addition to our community,” Vicki Pyne, president of the Apex Board of Directors said in the release. “Archery is a sport that promotes focus, discipline, and fun — and now, thanks to this dedicated space, it’s more accessible than ever. We’re thrilled to offer inclusive programming that supports all abilities and experience levels.”

The Apex Archery Range will host a variety of programs, including youth and adult classes, private lessons, open range times, and adaptive archery opportunities. Certified instructors will be on hand to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
