Denver airport train to terminal to resume Wednesday afternoon after smoke in construction area

The train to the terminal at Denver International Airport was resuming service to the terminal after it was suspended for smoke, airport officials said Wednesday.

The airport first posted on social media just before noon saying that the train was currently not serving the main terminal due to a smoke alarm, and that travelers would have to take the A-bridge to and from the terminal to access the service to their concourse.

Airport officials said Wednesday afternoon that the smoke had come from the construction area of the concourse and that cleanup was currently underway. They could not answer exactly what had caused the smoke to begin with.
