The No. 9 Colorado Mesa women’s basketball team extended its win streak to 15 games and won its 25th straight Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference game with a 74-43 win over the Westminster Griffins Thursday in Grand Junction.
Colorado Mesa held the Griffins to 28.1 % (16 of 57) shooting and to just one 3-pointer on 15 long-range attempts (6.7%).
Senior Olivia Reed Thyne finished with 24 points and 19 rebounds in 28 minutes of action. She logged her double-double by halftime with 11 points and 14 rebounds at the break and did not see the floor in the fourth quarter.
Colorado Mesa is 18-1 overall and unbeaten in the RMAC at 8-0.
